NCST's Machinist Technology program is geared to train you to become a machinist with the abilities, skills and techniques for entry-level positions in the field of machine trades. Our program will expose you to a combination of classroom theory and hands-on projects that will enable you to quickly develop the expertise needed in this exciting field. Our labs are filled with all the necessary equipment, such as:
- horizontal band saws
- milling machines
- lathes
- hydraulic presses
- drill presses
- shapers
- fixturing jigs
- CNC lathes and mills
- pedestal grinders
In addition to learning the procedures for operating standard machinery, our comprehensive program also teaches you basic skills of CNC operators, tool programmers and CAD operators.
